 This workshop will explore the volunteer journey a
 nd how your organisation can recruit. Equipped wit
 h this knowledge you will have the chance to criti
 que current volunteer recruitment campaigns\, cons
 ider different ways of working and learn about cur
 rent developments in the sector in Oxfordshire and
  how OCVA can help.</span></p>\n \n <p><span style
 ="font-size:14px\;">There will be opportunities th
 roughout the session to reflect on your current me
 thods of recruitment and volunteer management. OCV
 A’s Volunteering Development Manager will offer he
 r thoughts on how to retain volunteers based on pr
 ofessional experience and the findings of national

 \;">This workshop covers the basics of volunteer r
 ecruitment and is aimed at those who are intereste
 d in the subject area. You may be new to volunteer
  recruitment (whether as a paid member of staff or
  a volunteer responsible for recruiting or managin
 g other volunteers). Experienced recruiters may wi
 sh to use the opportunity to reflect and review th
 eir organisation’s current practice and develop th
 eir volunteer recruitment strategies in line with

 y Bowley is OCVA’s Deputy CEO. She has spent the l
 ast twenty years in Youth and Community work\, wor
 king in education\, local council\, social housing
 \, and health. Her roles as Community Youth Office
 r\, Community Development Officer and Volunteering
  Development Manager have extended her knowledge o
 f the VCS sector. Jenny has had a variety of volun
 tary roles to give her first-hand experience of vo
 lunteering\, both as volunteer and in her ten year
 s running a youth organisation\, a volunteer manag
 er. In her current role at OCVA\, she works to rai
 se the profile of volunteering and helps organisat
 ions to achieve their outcomes through the recruit
 ment and retention of volunteers as well as offeri
 ng advice and guidance on volunteering policy and 
 processes. </span></p>\n \n <p><span style="font-s
