Training details
This practical online session will look at how we can move away from playing a ‘numbers game’ and focus more on the outcomes and the difference our work makes. The session will look at tested ways of measuring the impact of what we do, how we can encourage people to take a longer-term view and provide useful evidence for funders and commissioners.

Who should attend?
This course is designed to suit those involved in managing, planning and evaluation, and/or involved in funder relations.

- The shift from counting activity to outcomes and impact.
- How to gather useful information about the impact of your work.
- How to build an evidence base to influence commissioners and funders.
- How to show the real value of your work
Trainer
Alan Lawrie is an established consultant specialising in strategy and business planning. He is the author of five books on different aspects of managing voluntary organisations.

£40 per person for OCVA Members
£55 per person from a charitable organisation who are not OCVA members
£70 per person from a non-charitable organisation

9.30am - 1pm with breaks
